I don't even know what to say. These kids are simply awesome. Cute as can be, so fun to work with, and fabulous outfits to boot! As you may already know I am a sucker for anything Matilda Jane. After this session, I may be calling up my local Matilda Jane rep and placing yet another order. Crazy at it may have been, moms... I so enjoyed spending time with these childhood friends. All of these kids are best buddies and had fun just being kids and running around together. It was such a great idea to gather them together for some photos. It made me wish I had photos of my childhood friends to look back on now. Thanks for a fun morning! Here are just a few sneak peeks...

Bright spot on a dark day | Atlanta Newborn Photographer
This little angel was a delight and on a day that was full of thunder, lightning and rain, he sure did brighten my day. He was sweet, sleepy and adorable. Mom and Dad were relaxed, easy-going and in love with their new little guy. It was a great session! (other than the occasional lightning strike that scared me to death). Thank you Mom and Dad for choosing me as your photographer during this special time. You will be fabulous parents and I look forward to watching "B" grow! Here are a few sneak peeks from our time together.

Sleeping Beauty | Atlanta Newborn Photographer
Isn't she just a sleeping beauty? What a doll baby. I know that I have said this before, but the hardest part of my job is trying to narrow down and choose my favorites for the galleries. As you also may know if you have ever had a session with me, I often end up going over the 20-30 images you are given in a gallery. This session will be no exception because I had a VERY hard time choosing my favs. Here is a sneak peek and a few of my many, many favorites. Congrats "B" family on your precious new addition to the family! I can't wait to watch her grow!

Spring | Atlanta Family Photographer
Hip Hip Hooray for Spring! Beautiful weather, lovely flowers, green grass, cook-outs, short sleeves, sandals, and playing outside. Oh, and don't forget spring sessions!
My goal in every session is to try to capture the true spirit and personality of each child. They don't always have to be smiling and perfectly posed. To me a photo is a way to preserve memories, shared moments, relationships, emotions, and special times. That is exactly what Mom was looking for in their session... family time... natural unposed family time (my kind of session). Thanks for spending the afternoon playing and hanging out with me "B" family. I enjoyed our time together! Here are a few sneak peeks...

Changes | Atlanta Maternity Photographer
I know that I have been MIA lately and I am so so sorry. Things have been really crazy around here. We sold our house and we are moving! (not far away) We are renovating the kitchen and floors of the new house before we move in BUT tomorrow is moving day and the house is not ready (go figure). We will be living in a construction site for a few weeks but hopefully it won't be too bad. We are really excited about the move because we will still be close to our old neighborhood (8 minutes away to be exact) but we will be in a bigger house with a much needed basement and playroom. There are a lot of changes ahead for my family, so I thought I would dedicate this post to things that change. Change is good!
Things that are changing...
1. My home
2. My email (you can now reach me at audreydaum@gmail.com)
3. The weather... spring is here and it is time to book your spring and summer sessions! I am booking fast.
4. My age... not such a good change but in April I will be mourning my 30's.
AND (this is a REALLY fun one, what is a post without photos?)
5. The "B" family will soon be a family of 4!
One of my dearest friends is about to deliver a baby girl! I am so excited! They have an adorable little boy who will be an awesome big brother to this sure to be girly girl :) Mom and I are already brainstorming her newborn session... I can't wait!
