Lovely walk in the park | Atlanta Child Photographer

I think I was totally spoiled last weekend! The weather was a gorgeous 65 degrees in February. The sun was shining. 

I met a new family that was a delight to work with. 

And then there was these two cutie pies! 

Little sis had the cutest chubby legs and gorgeous lips. She was very serious during our session. (I imagine she was unsure of the lady with the big black camera)

Big sis was the most polite and helpful 8 year old that I have met. 

Her kind spirit sparkled through her pretty blue eyes.

What a perfect day!

I am finally starting to get back into a normal routine again!

Yay!

As promised, here are a few more of my favorites from this sweet girl's photo session. 

I can't even begin to describe the special bond that these two share. 

She was mesmerized by her big brother and he was so gentle with her. 

She would immediately stop crying as soon as she saw her brother. 

But the part that brought tears to my eyes was when he lovingly and quietly sang to her to calm her down. It was like magic!

It completely melted my heart!

Hello! I know it has been a while since my last post. Things here in Atlanta have been crazy with the ice storms. I am so happy that we were able to fit this cutie's session in before the next big winter storm hit. 

I was really looking forward to meeting this sweet girl and see her big brother again. 

This family holds a special place in my heart. 

I don't think that I will ever forget the fun that we had during big brother's 3 month session!!

New Year Baby | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

I started off the new year in a special way. I was honored to photograph this sweet little baby girl that was welcomed home by Mom, Dad and her 2 big brothers. 

She is BEAUTIFUL.

What a wonderful gift they received!

She also won the award for "best sleeper during a photo session". It was a perfect way to start 2014 and I enjoyed every minute of it. 

I look forward to watching you grow little "C".

Many thanks to the teamwork of these beautiful kiddos' parents and grandmother. We pulled out all the tricks to get the good smiles and I enjoyed every minute of goofing off with this amazing family. 

They happen to be very good friends of ours so it was such a treat to be able to capture some special family moments for them.

Thank you so much "C" family for the gentle nudge that you gave me to get out of my comfort zone. I have to admit... I was nervous about this somewhat unknown location at first (guess you could tell by my knee high rubber boots). 

I am so thankful that you chose this location! You have reminded me of the benefits of stepping outside of my comfort zone and I couldn't be happier with the results!
