What could be better... | Atlanta Family Photographer

...than hanging out with an awesome family, on a beautiful fall day, with gorgeous red and yellow leaves on the trees, and 2 precious kids who are willing subjects for photos? Throw in a hammock and some silly secret telling, a few tickles and...voila! The perfect session! What does this mean to you, my blog readers? Well, sit back and relax. If at first you get a rainy day... | Atlanta Family Photographer

... try again another day! And that is just what we did! On the day of our session the weather forecast said 60% chance of rain. One hour before the session and there was still no rain so we set out to give it a shot. As we arrived the weather took a turn and it started to sprinkle and get VERY dark and gloomy.

I am so glad that we opted to reschedule for another day because our second try was a perfect day! The weather was beautiful and spirits were high. We got some awesome family shots that I cannot wait to share. Here are a few sneak peeks. I will probably post more from this session because I just love too many. Thank you "H" family for getting dressed and coming out twice! I think the final results were worth it :)

What a doll baby! I luuuv her and all of her sweet smiles! They just make me happy. I also love her family... but today, we are focused on this little princess (baby sister to her 2 big brothers). We split her session into 2 parts because Mom and I wanted to make sure to capture some "baby parts" photos as well as some pretty outdoor shots. I am thrilled with the results. I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and for those of you in Atlanta this weekend - WOW - wasn't the weather fabulous!

When I met up with this awesome family in the park for their session, mom mentioned to me that she liked the "unposed, natural photos that highlight relationships." PERFECT! My favorite! So, we wondered around the park and enjoyed some family time on a beautiful day (and oh yeah, captured some sweet family giggles and snuggles along the way).

Awwww.... sweet baby boy. You are one cuddly little muffin. Thank you for being such an angel for me. Thank you for curling and sleeping and just being your precious self. Thank you for letting me hold you while mom went to pick up your big sis from school. Thank you for sleeping ever so peacefully even though you had a bad case of hiccups :-) Thank you for letting me pose you without much fuss. But most of all, thanks to God for placing you in the loving arms of the "B" family. Welcome sweet baby.

LOVE this family! So cute! So good! So fun! What a fabulous way to kick off my busy season. It was a perfect day! I am thrilled with so many of the shots that we got during our session.
