Happy New Year! I love starting off the New Year with a sweet newborn session. This little baby boy came right before Christmas. What a wonderful Christmas this family had 

with their new little one.

It took us a while to get him to sleep but once he finally gave in, he was a peaceful little bundle. 

Big sister was feeling a bit under the weather during our session but did a great job cuddling up for photos with her new baby brother.

As we approach Thanksgiving, I am spending a lot of time reflecting on things that I am thankful for. 

I am thankful for my family, my friendships and all of the blessings in my life. 

I am thankful that through photography, God has allowed me to meet lovely families and capture special bonds between loved ones. 

I truly enjoy what I do and am thankful to be able to spend time getting to know new families and re-connecting with families that I have had the pleasure of working with before. 

Today I was thankful for this adorable new family. These little ones just put a smile on my face. 

Even on a cold, dark and almost rainy day, their joy and excitement just sparkled and shined. Mom and Dad were prepared and showed up with help (thank you Gigi) and snacks! We were ready for a perfect afternoon.

The crisp air, the gorgeous leaves on the trees, and the excitement of the holidays around the corner are all things Fall to me. 

Fall is my favorite time of year and what makes it even better is that I get to re-unite with many of my awesome clients for Fall photos. 

I have enjoyed working with the "C" family for many years now and always look forward to our time together. 

These kiddos are so sweet and well behaved. I love catching up with them each year to see how much they have grown. I fear that before I realize it, they will be eye to eye with me!

Wow... these kiddos are speedy! They jumped out of the car ready to run and have fun (and I did too).

They put me to the test to keep up with them today! 

I was thrilled to meet up with one of my favorite families to catch up since our last session and capture some new family photos. 

These girls are not only beautiful but they are also happy and 

full of personality. They have grown up so much since our last session. It was fun to get to know them again, and as always, to see their fabulous parents.

I think I was totally spoiled last weekend! The weather was a gorgeous 65 degrees in February. The sun was shining. 

I met a new family that was a delight to work with. 

And then there was these two cutie pies! 

Little sis had the cutest chubby legs and gorgeous lips. She was very serious during our session. (I imagine she was unsure of the lady with the big black camera)

Big sis was the most polite and helpful 8 year old that I have met. 

Her kind spirit sparkled through her pretty blue eyes.

What a perfect day!

I am finally starting to get back into a normal routine again!

Yay!

As promised, here are a few more of my favorites from this sweet girl's photo session. 

I can't even begin to describe the special bond that these two share. 

She was mesmerized by her big brother and he was so gentle with her. 

She would immediately stop crying as soon as she saw her brother. 

But the part that brought tears to my eyes was when he lovingly and quietly sang to her to calm her down. It was like magic!

It completely melted my heart!

Hello! I know it has been a while since my last post. Things here in Atlanta have been crazy with the ice storms. I am so happy that we were able to fit this cutie's session in before the next big winter storm hit. 

I was really looking forward to meeting this sweet girl and see her big brother again. 

This family holds a special place in my heart. 

I don't think that I will ever forget the fun that we had during big brother's 3 month session!!
